Top Choice｜ Other Products ｜Detroit Grande Ballroom – Paul Butterfield Blues Band & Cream Postcard

An original Grande Ballroom postcard for two bills across a single week: the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Thyme and The Rationals on Thursday, December 21, and Cream with Billy C and the Sunshine, MC5 and Soap across Friday and Saturday, December 22-23, with lighting by Trans-Love.Both bookings sit at the center of the era's blues-rock explosion. The Paul Butterfield Blues Band had helped bring electric Chicago blues to a young, largely white rock audience earlier in the decade, while Cream - Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker - were one of the biggest touring acts in the world at this point, on a bill that also gave a young MC5 a national-caliber stage. This example comes from the personal collection of Mary Cobra (Mary Ramirez), founding guitarist of The Detroit Cobras.Key Details & Collectability
