BONGO FURY turns 50!   The classic collaboration between Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart during May 1975 resulted in a flurry of new compositions, a tour, and eventually an album. Bongo Fury is made up of mostly live recordings from the Armadillo Headquarters in Austin TX, along with a few studio recordings from The Record Plant in Los Angeles. The album is a memorable addition to the Zappa Catalog and the last to feature the band name “Mothers” before it was retired in 1976.  This new, official artist store exclusive 50th Anniversary Edition features all analog mastering of the classic album by Bernie Grundman on 180g orange & black galaxy vinyl from the original master tapes plus a frame-able lithograph print of the band. Side One:1.     Debra Kadabra2.     Carolina Hard-Core Ecstasy3.     Sam With The Showing Scalp Flat Top4.     Poofter’s Froth Wyoming Plans Ahead5.     200 Years Old Side Two: 6.     Cucamonga7.     Advance Romance8.     Man With The Woman Head9.     Muffin Man
