Breaking Bourbon: rich caramel, rye grain, aged oak, nougat, and sharp baking spice on the nose; roasted nuts, leather, and earthy oak balanced by vanilla and butterscotch on the palate; and a finish of brown-sugar butter with lingering cinnamon and rye — 3.5 out of 5, the wheat present but not overpowering.
