Manao Silk Shorts Lime｜ Pants & Shorts

Loose-fit shorts crafted from 100% Thai silk in an alluring soft green and yellow, offer a refined relaxed style. Featuring the ikat dyeing technique, known locally as mudmee, the shorts present a traditional Thai motif pattern characterized by beautifully blurred lines. The ikat process, where threads are carefully bound and dyed before weaving, adds depth and texture to the fabric, honoring the rich textile heritage of northern Thailand.
Designed with an elongated drawstring waist for full fit adjustment, these shorts provide both comfort and flexibility. Cut to knee length, they feature front side pockets and back welt pockets, blending practicality with an effortless, laid-back silhouette. The unique nature of the handwoven silk, along with the seasonal yarn used, ensures that each pair of shorts is distinct and a testament to artisanal craftsmanship.
These shorts are perfect for those who appreciate the fusion of cultural tradition with modern functionality, celebrating the timeless artistry of Thai silk and the intricate mudmee dyeing technique.
