Take a Closer Look｜Clear Creek Pear Brandy｜ Other Products

Clear Creek Pear Brandy is the bottle that put Oregon on the map for craft distilling — the flagship expression that has defined the distillery since 1985 and one of the finest pear brandies produced anywhere in the world. Made in the tradition of France's classic Eau de Vie de Poire Williams, Bartlett pears grown just an hour away in the Hood River Valley are crushed at their absolute peak of ripeness, carefully fermented, and distilled in German-made copper pot stills — it takes 20 pounds of pears to make one 750ml bottle. The result is a concentration of pear character that is genuinely breathtaking. Wine Enthusiast awarded 94 points, describing it as soft and subtle with a gentle but authentic fresh pear aroma — on the palate pear flavor bursts through on the finish accompanied by spicy ginger and white pepper notes, offering a remarkably pure expression of fruit. The palate is silky and round with a medium weight, pleasingly dry with notes of fresh fruit and pear skin, finishing warm with floral accents. Double Gold at the San Francisco International Spirits Competition — and compared to European classics like Trimbach and Massenez, called "Best of all" and "peerlessly true to the original fruit" by The Washington Post.
