Jack Ryan 12 Year Irish Single Malt Whiskey comes from the Ryan family of Beggars Bush, the Dublin pub the family has run since 1913 and where they bonded and sold their own whiskey in the early days. The modern label revives that tradition with a twelve-year-old single malt matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.Twelve years in bourbon wood give it honey, dried fruit and vanilla on the nose, a smooth, velvety palate with orchard fruit and gentle oak spice, and a long, clean finish. It is a classic Irish single malt profile at a fair price for the age, best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water. This 750ml bottle carries a real Dublin pub pedigree and a proper age statement.
