Trendsetting｜Expresiones del Corazon William Larue Weller Anejo Tequila 2024｜ Food & Beverages

Drinkhacker rated the William Larue Weller Expresión an A — top-rated — and Buffalo Trace's Harlen Wheatley called the 2024 William Larue Weller the standout of that year's Antique Collection, so these are the barrels to want. Expresiones del Corazón is the annual collaboration between Corazón and its owner Sazerac: Corazón's single-estate Los Altos tequila, slow-cooked in stone ovens and distilled at Casa San Matías, NOM 1103, under master distiller Rocío Rodríguez, filled into freshly emptied BTAC barrels and stored in the first row of the Acatic aging house for airflow, checked every two months, and bottled at 40% ABV in limited quantities. The 2024 William Larue Weller Añejo is fifteen months in barrels that held the Antique Collection's uncut wheated bourbon — a bourbon Wheatley described as caramel with a long, creamy finish, new leather, and pipe tobacco. Bourbon & Banter, reviewing the Weller Expresión: the barrel influence has grown with each iteration, and why make an añejo unless you want to taste the oak — a welcome addition. Expect a soft, wheated-bourbon sweetness of caramel, vanilla, and honey over cooked agave, with leather and a creamy, long finish. Honest note: the most-hunted Expresión every year, because of the name on the barrel — for the Weller collector and the tequila drinker who wants the softest, most Weller-like bottle of the set. Neat, in a Glencairn. The heart, in William Larue Weller wood.Buy Expresiones del Corazon William Larue Weller Anejo Tequila 2024 online with fast shipping right to your door.
