The Inspiration Edit｜ Other Products ｜J.J. Corry The Gael Irish Whiskey

J.J. Corry The Gael Irish Whiskey comes from Chapel Gate Whiskey in County Clare, where founder Louise McGuane revived the lost Irish trade of whiskey bonding: buying new-make and aged spirit from distilleries and maturing and blending it in her own bonded warehouse on the family farm. The Gael is the flagship, a blend of malt and grain whiskeys bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) without chill filtration. The high malt content shows in a rich, fruity nose of ripe orchard fruit, honey and vanilla, with a creamy palate that adds toasted oak and gentle spice before a long, smooth finish. It is a whiskey to sip neat, and a step up from mass-market Irish blends in both texture and depth. This 750ml bottle is a cornerstone of Ireland's independent bonder movement. Buy J.J.
