The Martin J-16E Cream introduces a bold new voice to the refreshed 16 Series, combining standout style with powerful projection and a commanding acoustic presence. Its gloss-finished spruce top in a striking Cream colour is paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides for deep bass, rich overtones and articulate highs that cut through the mix with clarity.
The Jumbo body delivers thunderous volume with a sparkling top-end response, making the J-16E Cream an excellent choice for strummers, rhythm players and anyone looking for a guitar with strong projection on stage. Scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and sustain for a full, dynamic voice, while the Modified Low Oval neck shape provides a comfortable playing experience. Multi-stripe top binding adds a distinctive visual detail to the Cream finish.
For amplified performance, the J-16E Cream features L.R. Baggs® Element™ electronics, providing a natural amplified representation of the guitar's acoustic character for live performance and recording. With an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Nickel Open Gear tuners, Faux Tortoise pickguard and included Softshell case, this Martin is ready for the stage, studio or home.
